Fans of “Alien’s Day Out,” the popular vegan blog authored by Mipa Lee, should definitely check out her new restaurant Plant located in Itaewon. Plant features amazing vegan fare–the menu changes on a daily basis so there’s something new to try on every visit. On my first visit, the day’s entrées included a lentil burrito bowl and a kale pesto quesadilla. Both dishes had strong, fresh flavors and were wonderfully seasoned. Fans of Mipa’s famous desserts will not be disappointed–the dessert selection at the restaurant includes cakes, brownies and cookies among other things. Be sure to try the chocolate cherry cake if you have the chance. The food at Plant is incredibly affordable and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. Plant’s menu definitely proves that vegan cuisine can be delicious and inventive, in addition to being healthy! Plant was voted Best Vegan-Friendly Restaurant in the 10 Magazine Best of Seoul 2018 competition.
