Take a break from the summer heat and escape to the Alps, or at least a faithful authentic Swiss recreation of it. The tour will take visitors to the Alt Swiss Chalet hidden deep in the depths of Itaewon where guests can enjoy traditional fondue and other European dining in a restaurant of wood walls, classic clocks and cowbells. The menu ranges from pasta staples like spaghetti in several forms to grilled steaks with something for every taste. Of course, the Swiss specialty dish, fondue, will also be available in both “oil” and “cheese” sets. While visitors may not be able to go yodeling, skiing or to the Large Hadron Collider, it’s definitely one way to escape the urban heat for a night. Meeting point: Itaewon Station. 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
