‘International in Every way’

Seoul Foreign School is Seoul’s longest established international school, and is one of the first 10 international schools in the world. Founded in 1912, it offers a community of excellence coming together to educate children at all ages and all stages. SFS combines heritage with a passion for learning and is dedicated to the service of all.

The school has a current population of over 1400 students. Coming from over 50 countries and many diverse backgrounds the students at SFS have an opportunity to learn and understand about many cultures. SFS’s aim is to build on this and offer a global perspective on all aspects of education.

SFS’s four individual schools – Elementary, Middle, High and British – are situated together on a world class campus in central Seoul offering easy access from all popular residential areas. Physical, spiritual and academic needs are served across the facilities.  Students have the opportunity to participate in many activities – within the school day and in extra curricular time – including many competitive sports, arts and sciences and holistic interests.

Teaching comprises a Pre- K to Grade 12 learning environment. The PYP and MYP are offered along with the English National Curriculum and both lead seamlessly into the IB Diploma Programme to prepare students for university and beyond. Seoul Foreign School’s teachers are rigorously selected and their passion, inspiration and academic excellence ensure our students go on to attend prestigious colleges and schools and succeed in all walks of life.

SFS is a Christian school for all. Its students enjoy an education surrounded by a rich heritage in preparation for a future as global contributors.

Great International School
5.0

I have attended SFS from sophomore year and met some of the best people. This school provides a lot of opportunities with academics, music, and sports. It’s a place where students are challenged and encouraged to reach their maximum potential.

Great School
4.5

We’ve loved having not only our child, but ourselves plugged into this community. We take comfort in the age of the school and its stamp on this country. Our kids educational and emotional needs are met by the staff. It’s a great place and I highly recommend it.

SFS: Our second home
5.0

We are in our 6th year at SFS and our children would not hesitate to call it their second home. In addition to the rigorous academic curriculum across all divisions, there is a plethora of extracurricular activities for students to get involved in and ample opportunities to try something new. We are grateful that our children are at a place where they can be challenged, encouraged and loved in a safe and nurturing environment.

A School You’ll Fall in Love With!
5.0

Our Children have wonderful peers and exceptional teachers who care about them and nurture their learning. We’ve been here for 8 years, SFS has been here for over 100 years, this is a rare opportunity to be a part of a special learning environment. We love the opportunities our kids have to learn on the stage, in music, sports and beyond the classroom. A truly international school, and the only non profit one in Seoul.
