Description

The Yongsan International School Seoul (YISS) is an international school that welcomes a multicultural student body and provides Christian based education from Elementary School to High School. The school prides themselves in teaching almost a thousand students with values in truth, excellence and diversity. The campus itself is located in Yongsan, near Hangangjin station, and provides the students with facilities such as science and computer labs, over sixty classrooms, a 500 seat auditorium, 25 meter swimming pool, 350 seat gymnasium, 100 meter all weather track and outdoor athletics equipment, catering, health services and bus transportation. In elementary school, students have the opportunity to learn literacy and mathematical skills, while providing focused instruction in science, social studies, physical education, art, music, technology, and world languages. In middle school, they further develop skills in Bible (NICS) or philosophy (Oasis), English language arts, mathematics, science, physical education, art, choir, band, orchestra, technology, world languages, and electives, In high school, students continue to heighten their knowledge and often achieve far beyond basic high school requirements.
