Description

Also known as Jamsil Olympic Stadium, the Seoul Olympic Stadium was built for the 1988 Summer Olympics but now is a multi-purpose stadium. It holds a capacity of 69,950 people and is located by the southeast side of the Han River. It has housed some of the biggest sporting events in Korea in the past, such as the 10th Asian Games. The sports facilities within the stadium include a swimming pool and gymnasium, among other things. Though the stadium was originally built to host big sporting events,  it is now used often for concerts. Events like Ultra Korea, and performances by artists such as Exo and BTS have been held here.
