The American Women’s Club of Korea is a ladies’ club who gathers for friendship and social activities, as well as raising funds for general welfare purposes focusing on local Korean and American communities.
They offer various activities throughout the month to meet the social and philanthropic desires of their members. Whether you want to meet new friends or give back to the local community– they have it all!
It won’t take you long to get settled in after attending one of this women’s club’s monthly meetings. There are plenty of new friends waiting to warmly welcome you. If you desire to volunteer at a local orphanage or help sort clothes at the AWC- Thrift Shop, they can help with that too.
American Women’s Club of Korea (AWC) Events
AWC has several weekly meetings or special events. You can take part in Coffee morning on the first Tuesday of each month, their Book Club Brunch on the second Tuesday of every month or Happy Hour on the third Friday of every month.
Women of all nationalities are welcome to the club!
In order to become a member, you have to pay an annual membership fee of KRW 30,000 (KRW 20,000 for U.S. military, dependents, Embassy & DODEA teachers). The membership comes with benefits such as discounts with local businesses, access to member-exclusive AWC events and special volunteering opportunities.
