Description

Founded in 2007, Seoul City Improv is Seoul’s first improv comedy troupe in English. SCI began as a short-form improv group, in the style of ‘Whose Line Is It, Anyway?’ and has since branched out into other forms of improv, such as long-form and musical comedy. With over 100 shows in the past 9 years, SCI performs regularly in Haebangchon, and has performed in the past in Itaewon, Hongdae, and other areas around Seoul. Over 100 performers from all over the world have graced the SCI stage, and over 300 have participated in rehearsals. They rehearse every Sunday evening from 6pm to 9pm at KIS (Korea Improv Society) venue. SCI rehearsals are open to all levels of experience and no prior sign up is necessary. Just bring 5,000 won to cover expenses, and enthusiasm!
