BUA Thai Cuisine

Bua serves food that is made using authentic Thai recipes approved by the Wandee Culinary School(which has been approved by the Thai royal family) in a bright, elegant atmosphere.

Located on the second floor, Bua has large floor-to-ceiling windows to let in plenty of bright light during the day to accentuate their elegantly modern interior and illuminate the colorful Thai cuisine.

The food at Bua isn’t tourist Thai cuisine — guests should expect to see more than just pad thai and pad seew. Bua serves up house-made Thai roti, tapioca balls, and curry made from scratch. Food that any long-time Thai expats will immediately recognize and homeland staples.

In addition, Bua offers pillow rolls (Thai spring rolls), green curry roti, yellow curry, stir-fried curry with soft crab, and black sticky rice soup — just to name a few of their more popular items. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and with a noticeable absence of MSG.

While Thai cuisine is on a noticeable uptick throughout Seoul and pad thai is available in nearly every borough, Bua offers a smart take on Thai cuisine. They also have unique thai desserts and drinks available as well.

Michelin Bib Gourmand

BUA was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand 2017 which is an award given by the Michelin inspectors to establishments offering a quality three-course meal, excluding drinks, for ₩35,000 or less.
