Vatos Urban Tacos sprang from the minds (and bellies) of three Korean-Americans who wanted to offer a new type of dining experience in Korea.

Inevitably, such an environment led to the natural progression towards Korean-Mexican Fusion cuisine, and to the creation of dishes like:

  • Kimchi Carnitas Fries
  • Galbi Tacos
  • Spicy Chicken Quesadilla

Vatos Urban Tacos has since garnered praise for providing exciting new tastes using only the freshest ingredients. CNN named Vatos the “Hottest New Restaurant in Seoul.” 10 Magazine chose the Kimchi Carnitas Fries as the “Best Dish in Korea.”

Damn fine Tex-Mex with a Korean flare.
4.5

Don’t let the galbi tacos and kimchi fries fool you; the “fusion” is minimal. This place was started by some real connoisseurs of Tex-Mex cuisine and they’ve done a great job of keeping the food quality high and the service top-notch. The creative food and drink menus offer plenty of classics and a lot of very original dishes – and cocktails!

I only knock a half a star off because they are a tad pricey for what you get, so there is better value for dollar out there, but probably not at such an established business.
